In February 2018 we published anonymously a white paper directed at the Swiss National Bank (SNB) to create a CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), the so-called Swiss Crypto Franc. The paper was the first one in Switzerland to push the envelope in this direction.
Brave journalists picked up the story, the President of the SNB declined, saying there is “no need” for something like this. The only public figure supporting the white paper idea was (kudos!) Marianne Wildi, CEO of Hypothekenbank Lenzburg.
